Jump Stars SEN Session

Our Jump Stars SEN session is aimed at children and adults with special needs, autism or heightened sensory needs to come and use the park exclusively with their families, the lights are turned up (no disco lights) and the music is turned down to reduce any extra unnecessary stress.

We call our Jump Inc parks ‘hybrid mega parks’, all of them are filled with exciting activities from interconnecting trampolines, reaction challenges and tumble tracks to huge inflatable obstacles, ball pools and slides. Each park is different, Leeds, and Lincoln have both trampolines and inflatables, Sheffield is all trampolines, Rotherham is inflatables and ninja and Beverley is one big inflatable! There’s something for all ages and abilities at Jump Inc.

Just £4.50 per person and £6.00 at Rotherham*. Hybrid Jump socks must be worn and can be purchased at the reception for just £2.50.

When is it next on?
Leeds: Wednesday 26th January, Wednesday 23rd February, Wednesday 30th March, Wednesday 27th April
Lincoln & Sheffield: Tuesday 25th January, Tuesday 22nd February, Tuesday 29th March, Tuesday 26th April

What happens during Jump Stars?
Other than an hour of non-stop fun, here are some of the changes we make during this session to ensure it is enjoyable for everyone:

• No whistles, if there is any rule-breaking we’ll calmly have a word and explain the rules, or we’ll talk to a suitable adult
• No disco lights
• Music turned down
• No hard basketballs
• A 5 / 10 minute announcement before the end of the session so everyone knows how long is left
• Exclusivity & reduced capacity
• Extra staff
• An alternative option to wristbands if required

Trampolines are key to a specific type of exercise therapy that benefits those across virtually the whole spectrum of disabilities. Trampolining has been proven to provide a huge number of potential therapeutic and physiological benefits, from cardio-respiratory, muscle tone, balance and posture through to perception and communication! So join us at the end of each month** for an hour of fun and light exercise.
