LEARN TO SAVE YOUR CHILD’S LIFE IN A CRISIS

Local ‘Mumpreneur’, Alex Harrison launches Mini First Aid Sheffield, designed to teach parents and carers how to save babies and toddlers’ lives. Jump Inc are proud to help Alex launch her business and offer it first to Jump Inc customers.

If a child in your care had an accident or fell ill, would you know what to do? Alex Harrison, is here to teach you vital, life saving skills. She is running her first 2 hour baby & child first aid class at Jump Inc Sheffield next Friday 20th January, giving you the knowledge and skills invaluable to any parent. Classes cover choking, basic life support, dealing with burns, breaks and bumps, febrile seizures & meningitis awareness.

Alex, born and bred in Sheffield already has a busy schedule with two children and now growing a Mini First Aid business. With over twenty years nursing experience (including a role as a Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse), Alex is extremely comfortable with teaching first aid as well as working with parents, carers and children.

Alex says:

When I found out about Mini First Aid, I knew it was for me. I am so excited about the prospect of working with families to teach them vital first aid and help ultimately to save lives. I’m also looking forward to building my own business which fits around a busy family life.”

Alex has fantastic ideas for reaching parents & carers across the county and is keen to offer Mini First Aid classes in schools and early years setting as well as full paediatric courses.

‘Mini’ may be in her business name, but Alex is thinking big!

Mini First Aid Sheffield offers 2 hour baby & toddler first aid classes for small groups of parents and carers. Classes are informal but informative and cover choking, basic life support, dealing with burns, breaks and bumps, febrile seizures & meningitis awareness. A class costs £20 per person.
