JUMP INC LINCOLN OFFERS EXCLUSIVE SESSIONS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS AND AUTISTIC CUSTOMERS.
Jump Inc is a ‘hybrid mega park’ filled with a huge inflatable arena, interconnecting trampolines, reaction challenges, performance beds, tumbling tracks and loads more.
In partnership with PAACT (Parents And Autistic Children Together) a Lincolnshire based support group run by parents of Autistic children, Jump Inc are launching a new exclusive session ‘Jump Stars’ aimed at children and adults with special needs, autism or heightened sensory needs.
Trampolines are key to a specific type of exercise therapy which benefits those across virtually the whole spectrum of disabilities. Trampolining has been proven to provide a huge number of potential therapeutic and physiological benefits, from cardio-respiratory, muscle tone, balance and posture through to perception and communication.
Jump Inc recognised that there was a shortage of autism-friendly physical activity-based sessions, reporting “We want to make everyone feel welcome at our parks and give all abilities the opportunity to have a go at the craze that is trampoline parks. That’s why we started Jump Stars. We shut off the park to the rest of the public for an hour, turn the lights up and the music down. We also invite parents, siblings and other family members of children with disabilities to come and enjoy the park when it’s not as busy as peak times. This means that everyone can reap the benefits of trampolining and meet new friends without any added pressure.”
A regular customer at Sheffield said, “Jump Inc caters to anyone of any age, providing families with an inclusive activity so everyone can participate without restriction. Jump Inc is fantastic for my child and if you saw him on the park you wouldn’t identify him as less able against any other people on the park.”
EPIC, a parent and carer forum in Leeds recommend Jump Inc to all families “because they are very keen to engage and will recommend times that are quieter and easier to access if needed outside of the Jump Stars sessions. Jump Inc are leading the way on true disability inclusion.”
Jump Stars will be held at Jump Inc Lincoln on Tuesday 6th August, priced at just £4.50 per child. Grip/slip socks must be worn and can be purchased at the reception for just £2.50.
