Jump Inc Rotherham have teamed up with Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham (BDR) Waste Partnership; aiming to help families save up to £60 a month by reducing their food waste as part of WARP’s national campaign. They want to make everyday changes to help reduce deforestation and climate change, and families like yours can save a bit of extra pocket money each month for other activities (like coming to Jump 😉).
It’s surprising to discover that more than half the food we throw away can be eaten, and food that ends up in the bin adds to climate change by using energy, water and fuel.
They travel around the country spreading the word that your leftovers aren’t rubbish, giving you inspiring ideas and tips on how to make the most of your weekly food shop.
